Richard Soublet, Board President

Richard Soublet has served on the Board of Directors for CBMCFFC since 1987 and currently functions as Chair of the Board.  Rich possesses over 45 years of experience in Human Resource and Labor Relations Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Strategy and Process Improvement with several leading Bay Area companies.  These include Wells Fargo Bank, The Clorox Company, The McKesson Corporation and Kaiser Permanente. He is semi-retired and continues to consult with Kaiser's Information Technology Group on Leadership Development and Organizational Effectiveness. Rich has been active in civic and community affairs for over 40 years.  He has served as Board Chair and board member of several Bay Area non-profit organizations, and is currently also serving as a member of the Funding Review committee for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development and is a member of the Principal’s Advisory Council at St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California. Rich has served in the U.S. Army and is a decorated Vietnam Veteran. He resides in Oakland with Kathleen, his wife of 45 years. 

Angela Clausen, Board Vice President

Angela Clausen, Ph.D. lives in the East Bay and joined the board in 2019. She has been involved in non-profit work for 15 years having started her career as a case manager for foster children.  She was the Director of Community and Family Services Foundation for 5 years in Washington State before moving to California in 2011.  The move prompted a change and Angela began working for a non-profit specializing in corneal transplants and restoring sight to the blind.  Angela is currently the Director of Business Development for CorneaGen. In her role she works nationwide with non-profit Eye Banks, hospitals and industry leaders to partner and advance their cornea transplant operations.  Angela is also an adjunct instructor at Southern New Hampshire University teaching in the Human Services department. Angela is passionate about working with non-profits and advocating for social justice in the community.  She also is a competitive weightlifter and enjoys exploring the Bay Area with her partner and dog.
